Research Women Composers and Conductors

On behalf of the Frau und Musik Archive in Frankfurt, conductor Andréa Huguenin Botelho is collecting data to expand the database on female composers and conductors from South America. For the success of this work, we rely on your help. With this survey, we aim to give greater visibility to South American female composers and conductors. The musical works will be archived and made available to interested parties for research purposes.

 

The form can be filled out by the composer/conductor herself or, if she has passed away, by a third party. In this case, we ask that you provide the name of the person submitting the data. Personal data will be treated confidentially and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent. We hope that by the end of 2025 we will have a large amount of data on these categories of women in music.
